Our client’s new cremation for pets venture is almost ready for business.
Even though we have been in this business for many years, in fact we are globally recognised as the undisputed the market leader, we still enjoy a tingle of excitement every time we receive a new order. Whether it is for a small pet cremation unit or the largest, fully automated and most advanced waste incineration plant for an international authority we always experience a sincere sense of achievement. However there are occasions when our pride simply shoots off the satisfaction scale – especially when our client makes it clear that they chose us because, in his own words: “our equipment is the Rolls Royce of pet cremators”.
Treasured Friends already operates a successful Kent based pet crematorium and pet cemetery, but when they decided to develop a second cremation for pets facility, this time in Ramsgate, they came straight to Matthews Environmental Solutions. Not that they were unhappy with their existing pet cremation plant, but as owner, Carl Bolton pointed out, for their new venture they required a more robustly constructed and ultra-reliable unit. They wanted the very best and that meant there was only one choice … us!
The other important consideration was that as the new pet cremator was going to be housed inside a newly constructed building so it had to be purpose designed and critically engineered to exactly match the specifications of its location.
Working closely with the Treasured Friends’ cremation for pets team we designed a bespoke DEFRA Type Approved twin chamber pet cremator that would meet every single one of their requirements.
After completing the manufacture in our Manchester workshops we pre-fired and tested it before we delivered and sited it in what was at the time simply a new-build base enclosed by dwarf walls.Since then the new Treasured friends’ cremation for pets building has been almost completed and so recently our engineers returned to the site in order to finalise the installation, incorporate all the controls, connect it to the fuel and power supplies and to complete the commissioning and hand-over.
The building now only requires the final finishing touches to be applied before the new Treasured Friends’ cremation for pets venture is open for business and Mr Bolton can at last begin to fully appreciate the unrivalled power and performance of his ‘Rolls Royce’ of pet cremators.
