Combining the latest animal cremation process with modern aesthetics
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the ‘Brexit’ vote orders are still arriving at Matthews Environmental Solutions from Europe and we have recently received a request to manufacture a customised cremator for a well-known pet crematoria based in The Netherlands.
At Matthews we have been designing and manufacturing animal cremation units for many years and over that period we have witnessed how the pet cremation industry has progressed from what was originally a purely functional animal cremation process into what is today a far more customer-sensitive and environmentally responsible service.
Many of these changes have actually been driven by ourselves and our progressive styling together with advanced technology that accommodates all animal cremation requirements from the smallest pets up to the largest dogs, ponies and horses, is now designed to meet the requirements of both the crematoria operators as well as the bereaved pet owners, who above all else, want to be able to recover the remains of their beloved pet.
A major aspect of this progress has of course been the introduction of ever more stringent environmental regulations along with the need for increased fuel efficiency and economy. All the animal cremation process plant we design and manufacture is guaranteed to meet every single one of these legal and efficiency–led demands.
More recently however, we have witnessed a trend for the appearance of the pet cremator itself to become more customer-appropriate and today’s range of Matthews Surefire pet cremators is now sensitively designed and aesthetically styled to reflect the development and appearance of the latest human cremation technology.
The order we received from The Netherlands also included a number of personalised customer-specifications that we were able to provide by customising our standard design to create what is now a one-off bespoke cremator that matches their requirements exactly.
The pet cremator was manufactured in our own Hyde workshops and it has now been freighted to our agent in The Netherlands who has the responsibility for installing and commissioning it on site as well as for all on-going servicing and maintenance.
