In fact our customer is so delighted, he has ordered another two animal cremation systems
Our customer, an existing Matthews Environmental Solutions (MES) customer as it happens, knows a thing or two about running a pet crematorium. As a matter of fact he has been operating a very successful business for many years based around one of our animal cremation systems. But as they say, ‘times change’ and to remain successful, businesses in all sectors have to adapt to changing needs and demands. He was perceptive enough to recognise that although his existing MES pet cremator was still efficient and reliable (even after many years service) there was a noticeable change in what many pet owners now view is a fitting final journey for their beloved animal friend. He realised that in order to meet today’s and future animal cremation expectations he needed to re-assess his established pet crematorium concept.
His first step was to speak to the MES animal cremation experts.
The thing is, MES is without question one of the most experienced, most innovative and most successful designers and manufacturers of animal cremation technology in the world. Today there are over 4,500 Todaysure/MES animal cremation installations, made in the UK and operating successfully in over 50 countries.
In addition, MES pioneered the concept of multi-chamber animal cremation systems. Which was yet another powerful reason why our customer had no hesitation in coming back to us to discuss his ideas and to seek our advice and recommendations for his proposed pet crematorium re-development.
What he had recognised was that today’s pet owners were anxious to ensure a respectful and dignified cremation for individual animals. That meant that he needed to upgrade his existing pet cremation system to a multi-chamber configuration so that each pet could be cremated in a separate, dedicated chamber, thus ensuring that the owners were totally confident that they would be able to receive the remains of their beloved pet.
After discussing his requirements, plus his own thoughts for the future, our designers came up with a concept based on our highly successful Surefire® SA50.3 animal cremator for an innovative 8-chamber unit. Each of the individual chamber dimensions was custom planned so that the new unit would be able to cater for all sizes of animals from small pets up to large dogs.
Following the successful manufacture and trialling of the new multi-chamber animal cremation system, one of our site teams then travelled to our customer’s pet crematorium to install the new system.
Even this stage had to be carefully planned and coordinated, however. The new bespoke 8-chamber animal cremation system was to be installed into an existing building that housed the original MES pet cremator. The process demanded that we had to firstly dismantle and remove the existing equipment before we could install the new Surefire® SA50.3 8-chamber unit. Since any downtime affected our customer’s business it was vital that everything was pre-planned and scheduled in order to minimise the risk of disruption and delays.
We’re pleased to report that everything went according to plan and the new installation was completed and commissioned without any delays.
Once again our customer was delighted with the efficient way we accommodated all his requirements as well as with the outstanding level of service we provided. So much so that he has now ordered two additional similar bespoke animal cremation units from us.
