Matthews’ animal waste disposal expertise is welcomed at important farming expo
The Expo Porcicultura 2016 trade show, held this year between October 5th – 8th at Cancun, attracted huge numbers of visitors both from Mexico and neighbouring countries anxious to catch up on the latest pig farming and pork production innovations. At Matthews Environmental Solutions we were honoured that Managing Director John Schofield was invited to attend the Expo as part of a special ‘Ask the Experts’ panel.
The main reason that Mr Schofield was invited to participate at this important international event was because of his very specialised knowledge and his unique expertise concerning animal waste disposal methods. Currently Mexico and Central America are experiencing health related problems for farm livestock, so the experience and knowledge gained when the
UK farming industry was devastated by the BSE crisis some 10 – 15 years ago, particularly animal waste disposal techniques developed by companies such as Matthews, was of great interest.
Mr Schofield was able to pass on his experience and was also on hand to provide valuable advice to a very interested audience. Particularly of interest to visitors at the Expo was to hear how Matthews has developed a specialist range of animal waste disposal technology that not only efficiently and cost-effectively disposes of the carcass in a safe, risk-free process, but also that the entire range of Matthews’ Surefire animal cremation plant also fully complies with all the latest international environmental regulations – with harmless emissions to atmosphere together with minimal residual waste – all of which is approved by the most stringent legal requirements.
Being invited to attend this important multi-national Expo highlights the global reputation of Matthews Environmental Solutions and fully confirms the international respect with which Mr Schofield is also held.
