Matthews’ commercial incinerator success just keeps on growing
A few weeks ago we wrote about how, thanks to our continued global success, we needed to increase both our production and support facilities, which is why we recently took possession of the historic Wharfingers House. Last weekend, to celebrate our move into this iconic early 19th-century canal-side building we threw a great office launch party so that everyone – our employees and their families – could get together, have some fun, share a few drinks, enjoy some food and to generally welcome Matthews Environmental Solutions into our new office home.
We have to say that the occasion was a tremendous success and with over forty people attending the event it really couldn’t have gone any better.
This historic building, now tastefully converted into modern three-storey office accommodation, is the ideal location that will allow us to continue the development of our international commercial incinerator success to even greater heights.
But last weekend it was all about having fun, team bonding and having a good time.
Naturally, there was plenty to eat and drink and we had laid on a super barbecue that kept our ‘chef’ busy cooking sausages and burgers the whole of the afternoon. For those people with a sweet tooth, we’d also provided a massive buffet of doughnuts and loads of candy treats.
To ensure that everyone got into the party spirit we had arranged glittery face painting (mainly it has to be said for the children, although many of the grown-ups also joined the queue). We also had a huge bouncy castle (again with the kids in mind, but also enjoyed by some of the adults). Football too was all part of the fun although it’s true to say that the ball went swimming in the adjacent canal on more than a few occasions.
With two large marquees erected in the courtyard, plus plenty of good music and dancing to enjoy, we’re delighted to report that our new office opening party was a terrific success that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended.
Our new office accommodation will be most valuable as we continue to develop our plans for even greater international commercial incinerator growth. Success on this scale, however, means that we are now actively recruiting staff of a number of key positions. You can click here to see our latest job availability listings. If you wish to apply for any position please send your job application to firstname.lastname@example.org quoting the position in which you are interested and attaching your latest CV.
