Our Cremation Services
Over the years we have found that many new business enquiries we receive are not simply requests for a cost. Very often the enquirer also wants to tap into our vast knowledge of cremation services as a whole in order to understand more about the latest advances in technology as well as the most recent industry regulations and compliance requirements. Helping them to plan their project in addition to providing designs and advice on cremation plant is now all part of our service.
This was certainly the case when recently we took an enquiry from a past customer who was wanting to discuss ideas, designs and costs for a new animal cremation plant.
Because we are widely recognised as one of the world’s most respected cremation services manufacturers, animal cremation along with human cremation technology is a major part of our business and so, as one of the leading UK pet crematoria organisations, this valued customer had no hesitation in contacting us again when they were starting to draw up their plans for a new pet crematorium development.
In this particular instance and after in-depth discussions to agree the requirements and to study anticipated future demand, we came up with a bespoke design that incorporates eight individual cremation chambers, two of which are to be specifically sized and designed to accommodate smaller pets such as cats.
The cremator is to be fueled by either diesel or kerosene and the plant has been designed so that it is capable of operation up to eight hours per day. Each chamber will incorporate its own ignition system and by designing in a high-capacity secondary chamber and nine metre high refractory lined chimney we have been able to guarantee that all emissions fully comply with the most stringent UK and European environmental legislation.
Because our customer also wishes to provide their own clients with the opportunity to witness the cremation process we are incorporating power coated ‘cosmetic’ panelling in order to enhance the appearance and to overcome any suggestion of industrial plant.
Now that the contract has been agreed and signed we expect to manufacture, assemble, test and pre-commission the new cremator within approximately twelve weeks. As part of our total cremation service we will also be undertaking to deliver, install and commission the cremator on site and in addition to provide a full training facility for our customer’s own staff.
Repeat business such as this occurs very frequently, but nevertheless it is still extremely satisfying having confirmation that customers really do value our service, our quality and our overall input sufficiently to come back to us time after time.
If you are planning a new animal cremation facility then you should talk to us as early in the planning process as possible. Our knowledge and advice really could be of valuable assistance.
