Thanks to our assistance this innovative new venture is now underway
A couple of months ago I traveled over to Graz in Austria to visit the Reininger family, who after many years running a successful pet cremation business based around one of our Surefire® units, now wished to expand and develop their enterprise by installing a second, more advanced pet cremation system. At the same time they told me that their plans also included the development of what would be Austria’s very first equine cremator facility. We’re delighted to report that thanks to our assistance this innovative project has now been granted approval by the Austrian authorities and production of the new equine cremator is currently underway.
Being the first dedicated equine cremator in Austria the authorities demanded lots of technical data, including cremator specifications, cremation processing facts and figures, information regarding the logistics of the operation and of course detailed analysis regarding possible environmental impact.

We also invited the Reininger family to visit our headquarters in Manchester and we took them to see one of our existing equine cremation customers – Owen Shepherd. On this visit our Austrian guests were able to gather lots of first hand valuable information that was required by the regulators in their own country.
In addition we had also prepared a comprehensive report detailing all the technical specifications of the new equine cremator system, together with performance data and environmental impact statistics. As this was the country’s very first equine cremator facility we also provided valuable information, advice and recommended specifications for the new-build construction that would be required to house the new plant.
The result was that the authorities were more than happy with the proposals presented and consequently approval for the new equine cremator development was quickly rubber-stamped.

The official order for the new equine cremator has now been received and it is already in production with a target opening date for the new facility by the end of September/beginning of October.
