A customised animal remains incinerator combined with an innovative family pet cremation facility.
We always say that every order we receive is different. Every job presents a new challenge … and the bigger the challenge the more we relish it. This latest project undoubtedly lived up to all our expectations. It certainly wasn’t straightforward, but thanks to our unrivalled experience, our design expertise and our outstanding engineering talent we produced a concept that answered every one of the customer’s complex requirements. Our solution was the unique merging of a large animal remains incinerator and an individual family pet cremation chamber. A customised concept that delivered exactly what the customer was looking for.
Actually there was a further challenge we faced in that this particular customer’s business was located in Poland and all the specifications for the new combined animal remains incinerator/family pet cremation system were agreed between the customer and Zbyszek our Polish agent – with of course substantial input from ourselves.
The way we overcame this particular challenge was really quite innovative in that our solution incorporated an animal remains incinerator featuring a large bulk load chamber. However, in order to enable the customer to offer the new family pet cremation facility he wanted to develop, we also designed in a rear facing pet cremation chamber that would allow him to provide a private and individual family pet cremation service.
On one side of the unit is the large bulk load animal remains incinerator, but it was recommended that the unit should sit within a partition so that the rear facing family pet cremation chamber was viewed separately and in isolation. This was also designed with a less industrial, more pleasant and dignified appearance that is far more suitable and appropriate for anyone who wishes to witness the final journey of their beloved pet.
There is also another innovative design feature that we incorporated into the build. That is we have designed the entire unit with additional future expansion plans in mind. We carefully customised the top of the family pet cremation system – the chimney and the control system – so that with very minor modifications a second pet cremation chamber can be mounted on top of the existing one should that become a future requirement.
Just one further aspect of the contract that may be of interest. Our Polish agent, Zbyszek, was so impressed with the system we produced that instead of waiting for us to ship it across to him using regular freighting services, he arranged for one of his own drivers to travel across Europe to our factory near Manchester so that he could personally collect it.
