Last week’s Arab Health exhibition in Dubai was a tremendous success as visitors flocked to discuss their incineration of waste issues.
Over the past few weeks we’ve been very busy preparing for what was the Middle East’s biggest and most important medical trade exhibition; with a specially commissioned stand, new literature and expert staff on hand to greet delegates and answer all their incineration of waste questions. Now we’re delighted to report that all our preparations paid off handsomely as we welcomed a quite amazing number of visitors to our stand who not only showed a great deal of interest and provided lots of positive enquiries about our waste incinerators but in many instances they actually signed up for orders and confirmed contracts right there and then. Now on our return to the UK we are busy following up all those orders and leads.
What surprised us at this ‘medical trade exhibition’ was that so many of the orders and enquiries we received were not restricted to medical waste issues. Instead we were inundated with questions about every type of waste disposal concern and we were able to offer advice on all the many different options that Todaysure Matthews could offer regarding waste incinerators to cover a huge range of industrial, medical, laboratory, food and hazardous waste, plus the incineration of waste for public health and municipal authorities. Not only that, but we also received many enquiries concerning animal waste disposal along with questions about our animal cremation and human cremation technology.
Thanks to the amount of preparation we had put in we were in a great position to assist all the visitors to our stand, which incidentally, was widely acclaimed to be one of the most attractive and informative at the venue. Certainly our American colleagues who visited the exhibition were most impressed with the event and they went away with lots of thoughts and ideas regarding their own participation in future exhibitions around the world – particularly in South America, Africa and the Far East.
As well as the many potential customers who called onto our stand to see us we were extremely pleased to welcome several of our agents who had also taken time out to visit Dubai. Our main African agent, Plenser Limited, called to visit us, as did a number of agents from many other countries. Importantly we also received enquiries from companies who were interested in joining our list of agents and over the next few weeks we will certainly be speaking to them all with a view to discussing the possibilities of future partnerships.
Without question the four days of the exhibition were incredibly hectic as were all the man-hours we spent in the planning and preparation for this important event at the Dubai International Conference Centre.
But that was only the beginning. Thanks to the enormous interest in our range of products, plus the appreciation of our incineration of waste experience and expertise, we now have orders to process plus a colossal list of enquiries to follow up from companies and organisations who visited the exhibition – and in particular our stand – from all around the world.
