The future of our incinerator design and engineering service is set to become even more successful
Thank you! Another year is about to end, but first, we at Matthews Environmental Solutions want to thank all our customers for their preference and trust in the quality of our products. We are committed to improving every day because you deserve nothing but the best.
Is it just us? Or has time somehow speeded up? It doesn’t seem two minutes since we were preparing for last Christmas and looking forward to what 2019 had in store for us… yet suddenly here we are again. As we look ahead, we eagerly anticipate the beginning of 2020 and beyond. As we look back over the past year it has been full of notable achievements, not least doubling in size and building a new Management and Engineering team.
Business has never been better across all our sectors where we have seen growth and opportunity. This has included many substantial and prestigious incinerator design and manufacturing projects across much of the world.
Our standard product line has seen significant growth, for which we are extremely proud. Offering a personal and family approach to this market is our philosophy and our clients feel like part of our business.
Just glancing back at 2019, it has been a very exciting year, working in challenging and rewarding parts of the world. In the early part of the year, we produced two significant waste incineration systems for a major concern in Iraq.
2019 saw MES custom design, engineer and install Austria’s very first equine cremator system. We also designed and manufactured a bespoke and technically challenging human cremation system that we then installed in a magnificent new crematorium building that later received the accolade of the ‘highest crematorium in Scotland’.
October 2019 the MES administration team moved into new prestigious office premises when we acquired the historic Wharfingers House that stands alongside and overlooks part of the famous ‘Cheshire Ring’ canal system. This is now our Global Engineered Solutions Head Quarters. We are very proud to have some of the best Engineers and Designers with us here in the UK.
MES UK and Wharfingers House proved to be the perfect venue when our parent company, Matthews International Corporation, brought their multi-national group of Future Enterprise Leaders to visit us in October as part of the Mid-Point session then taking place in the UK. They were very keen to further understand our own international role and to discuss our hugely successful waste management strategies.
But now it is time to look ahead to next year and beyond.
Thanks to our ongoing marketing efforts and our excellent global connections we can only see our worldwide business continuing to grow and expand into new and exciting territory and markets.
In addition, after last week’s General Election and the overwhelming Conservative victory it seems that the UK is going to ‘Get Brexit Done’. After Parliament’s delays and dithering over the past three years hopefully we can now begin to look ahead with a clearer vision with new and exciting trade deals being developed. We certainly hope we can open our doors to greater international opportunities. 2020 will see even greater global success
Yes, we truly believe that 2020 and the future years to come will continue to be an exciting and successful time for MES.
Our offices will be closed for Christmas and New Year
Our Manufacturing and Offices will be closed from Tuesday, December 24th and we will be reopening on Thursday, January 2nd.
From all the team at Matthews Environmental Solutions may we wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
