How as the world’s leading incinerator suppliers we raced to the rescue
We don’t normally see ourselves as one of the emergency services, but just a couple of weeks ago that is precisely the role we found ourselves in. One of our customers, Kings Hill Cremations, based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England, suffered a devastating fire that prevented them from carrying on their business. With a busy order book and constant enquiries for pet cremation coming in on a daily basis the prospects for this family run firm looked bleak. Fortunately the owner of the business, Owen Shepherd, contacted us and we were immediately able to come to his aid.
Within just 48 hours of him contacting us, we had been able to provide an emergency replacement pet cremator that effectively enabled Kings Hill to carry on their caring pet cremation service to the local community.
The containerised Surefire® SA50/0.6 ready for dispatch to Kings Hill Cremations
Following the fire, Owen Shepherd travelled up to Hyde to visit our factory and to discuss the options available and as he saw the Surefire® SA50/0.6 he was immediately wowed by the machine. He commented on the obvious build quality of the cremator and was mightily impressed by the advantage of the additional individual chamber.
The SA50 is extremely popular within the pet cremation sector and because we provided it as a completely integrated containerised unit it meant that it was fully operational and ready to go into immediate service the moment it arrived on site.
As the top incinerator suppliers, we were delighted to be in a position to provide the prompt response that Owen Shepherd so desperately required and he himself was also naturally delighted and has shown massive appreciation for the way we quickly came to his aid and for the support we gave to his family business.
Work on restoring the fire-ravaged property is now proceeding at a pace and as part of his plans, Owen Shepherd has commissioned us to provide a replacement purpose-built pet cremator that is customised with four individual chambers. In addition, he has also ordered a bespoke equine cremator and although we will be working to an extremely tight lead-time we are confident that Kings Hill Cremations will soon be back operating at full capacity.
