Our latest ‘one off’ multi-chamber pet cremation unit is now complete
Although we manufacture what could be termed ‘standard’ pet cremation units, including the renowned Surefire® and Matthews IEB ranges, it is relatively rare that our customers do not require at least some degree of customisation as part of their specifications. Equally though, we are finding more and more customers are choosing us to create and engineer bespoke solutions specifically tailored to meet their individual needs.
They invariably come to us because one, they know that we can offer unrivalled and reliable advice on the feasibility of their ideas. And two, they recognise that there is no one better qualified than us to transform their ideas into practical reality. This week we can report an excellent example of this unique service.
Within the last few days have completed and shipped a bespoke 9-chamber pet cremation unit to what is very probably one of our most frequent repeat customers. Pet Cremation Services (PCS) is one of the UK’s largest and most progressive pet cremation specialists and they can boast no fewer than thirteen pet crematoria and cemeteries across the country.
This latest made-to-measure unit, that is destined for installation at the Group’s pet cemetery in South Godstone, Surrey, takes the form of a multi-chamber cremator that has been specifically designed and engineered to perfectly reflect our customer’ unique operational needs, the physical site layout and not least to provide the highest levels of energy efficiency.
The design we produced in partnership with PCS focuses around an extra-large hot hearth primary chamber. Alongside this on the right are two stacked individual chambers, the roof of the lower one creating a hot hearth for the upper chamber. To the left of the main chamber is a stack of four smaller chambers that are designed to provide the same energy efficient specifications. At the rear of the four chambers, we also incorporated two appropriately sized chambers dedicated to small pet cremation.
The entire design has been planned to provide respectful facilities for the individual cremation of beloved pets across all sizes, whilst at the same time, it has been designed to ensure maximum operational efficiency and energy cost effectiveness. The entire configuration has been designed with a very generous secondary chamber to guarantee outstanding environmental performance and statutory compliance.
Once again PCS has chosen us to develop and implement their ideas and to enable them to continue to provide a reliable service for the benefit of their own clients.
