How we are answering the needs of the pet cremation business on a worldwide scale
There has been a lot of talk recently about ‘global markets’ and how, especially after Britain’s withdrawal from the EU, the country will have to develop a more international marketing policy. Well we can confirm that at Matthews Environmental Solutions that process has been part of our success for many years and the latest evidence of our worldwide achievements is this huge eight-chambered cremator, plus a horse cremator that have both been designed and manufactured for what is probably Australia’s leading pet cremation business.
Both the bespoke animal cremation units have been produced by us on behalf of The Animal Welfare League of South Australia. This organisation operates the state’s largest animal shelters located in Wingfield, Edinburgh North and Port Adelaide and every year they care for around 12,000 cats and dogs. As a truly professional and compassionate operation, in addition to their rescue and care facilities, AWL also serves the pet cremation business by providing a service for pet owners and veterinary practices throughout Australia.
When AWL were looking for the right company to partner with them to supply the cremation equipment for their new facility being built in Adelaide, they were keen to choose a company with the same values as their own, hence the reason why Matthews Environmental Solutions, despite being on the other side of the world, were chosen as their preferred supplier for their new design and build project.
Working closely with the project team from AWL we have designed and manufactured this eight-chambered pet cremator comprising four back-to-back chambers, each one of which incorporates an efficient hot cremation hearth. Being closely involved in and fully aware of the changing needs of today’s pet cremation business we designed one side of this huge cremator with an aesthetically attractive facia that is suitably appropriate should bereaved pet owners wish to witness the final journey of their beloved pet.
Not only have our designers liaised closely and constantly with AWL personnel in Australia to ensure that the two cremators include all the features and facilities they required, but we have gone to great lengths to ensure that they will fit perfectly into their new state of the art building.
Both cremators have been fully tested in our factory and are now about to be shipped to Australia where the installation will be completed later in the summer (or winter as it will be in Australia).
