Why more and more pet crematoriums are coming to us
Treasured Friends is a Kent based pet crematorium and pet cemetery that for many years has been providing a personal and sympathetic service tailored to meet the individual needs of both owners and their recently departed pets. When they decided to develop a second crematorium, this time at Ramsgate, they had no hesitation in contacting Todaysure Matthews, because as owner Carl Bolton made it clear, “our equipment is the Rolls Royce of pet cremators”.
The pet crematorium on their existing site is fine, confirmed Mr Bolton, but for the new crematorium they required a more robustly constructed unit and because of our unrivalled reputation within the pet crematoriums sector he unhesitatingly contacted us.
A major feature of our service to pet crematoriums is that the majority of our pet cremators are purpose-designed and individually engineered to meet the specific requirements of the business and so in consultation with Mr Bolton we drew up plans for a bespoke DEFRA Type Approved twin-chambered pet cremator that incorporated all the features and facilities he was looking for.
Once approved the design was then expertly engineered in our own workshops before being trialled, test-fired and approved by our Quality Management team. Only after we ourselves were fully satisfied that it conformed to all our own quality standards and also met every one of our customer’s requirements did we sign it off.
One of our installation teams then transported the finished pet cremator to the new site where we erected it in-situ and where Treasured Friends are now in the process of constructing their new state of the art crematorium building around it, after which we will return to finally commission the cremator, probably in about four week’s time.
