As the world’s leading thermal incinerator specialists we’re delighted that Ron Munton is ‘staying on’
The bad news is that Ron Munton, one of our most experienced thermal incinerator specialists, has announced that he is to retire at the end of the month. The good news is that Ron has agreed to stay on and continue to work with us on a part-time basis.
After almost 30-years working with us there is very little that Ron hasn’t experienced within the international thermal incinerator market and over the years his contributions have been significantly responsible for many of our global successes within the waste incineration, pet cremation and human cremation sectors.
The experience that Ron brings to the company is of course hugely appreciated not only by ourselves but also by so many of our customers. That, however, is not his only attribute. Throughout his many years working with us, Ron has consistently been one of the most popular personalities within our organisation. His presence has been invaluable – for his unrivalled experience, his total commitment to the success of our thermal incinerator business, and not least for his joviality, his kindness and consideration to others and for the positive entertainment and influence that he has brought to our everyday lives.
Yes, after almost 30-years we recognise that Ron feels ready to wind down, take things a little easier and enjoy more of the personal aspects of his life. However, knowing Ron as we do, we fully understand that even now he is not quite ready to walk away completely from all the excitement and the challenges of working with the world’s number one thermal incinerator specialists. We’re absolutely delighted that he has agreed to continue his valued contribution … even if it is on a reduced timescale.
As a recent anecdote and typical of Ron’s personality, when we were invited on stage to receive our Pride of Tameside Business Award Ron was the first to mount the stairs and naturally it was him who seized the microphone to make his acceptance speech. The audience loved it and as his colleague Elliott Jones turned to leave the stage Ron quipped: “Hang on, don’t go, Elliott, I’ve got a message for you – can you phone home?”
It brought the house down!
So thank you Mr Munton for all your commitment and contribution over the years and we’re delighted that you will still be here to keep us all entertained and that you will continue to pass on your invaluable experience and expertise.
